Ditzy, it's a good thing you'll be posting something soon - the natives are starting to get restless. Next thing you know they'll be asking you why you don't wear underwear. . . .

What do you think of the song titles for your new CD "My Guitar Does The Talking"? Here they are: 1. People Are Talking 2. On The Highway 3. The Hardest Part 4. Fast Plane To China 5. Newshound 6. Turn It Loose 7. Reach! 8. Today's a New Day (duet with John Mayer) 9. A Song For Wayne 10. New York, I Call You Home! 11. Use It Or Lose It 12. Is It Any Wonder 13. Dreaming of California 14. Mama's Diary. The songs are reflections of your family history as well as of my twin brother Wayne, the game show nut. Say the word and I'll ghostwrite those songs.

Hey Meredith! I loved your Halloween costumes on Today this year! You've had some great ones over the years on The View and Today... what was your favorite?

What is your favorite song?, and why is it your favorite?

Where are you today? I don't think that Matt mentioned why you are absent, or perhaps I missed it, as I missed you!

I have always wanted to know how it is decided who will interview who on the show.

How do you keep your temper in check when a guest is difficult or condescending or just plain nasty such as Ann Coulter?? I would have slapped her.

Did the Today show buy carbon credits to make up for the flights to the Morth and South Poles?

Great that the Today show is going green ....or at least talking about it...not too green when hosts travel all over the world. How about promoting zero population growth...remember from our youth? I'm sure you do. 2 children for every married couple. Would love to see someone take a leadership role in the media and why not the best?

Hi Meredith, do you ever hang out with anyone who was in the Millionaire audience? I was there in August, right behind you:

For the flights to the South and North poles, is NBC buying carbon credits to offset the long flights?

It was apparent that the groom's family was not as excited about the Today Show Wedding as was the bride's. Can you give us some insight on the friction?

Hi Meredith:

I read that you have an underactive thyroid, and Oprah has just revealed the same condition. I have it too and sometimes get tired. How do you deal with hypothyroidism? I wish Today would do a segment on this condition and invite all kinds of women to tell their stories.

Hope you had a nice weekend!

I know you worked with Hugh Downs and Barbara Walters at ABC. What other former "Today" regulars do you know or have you worked with ?

Did any give advice ?

I watch the Today Show regularly and love the friendship between all the different hosts. My question is "Has Matt and his wife had a 3rd child?" I had heard that they were but no one has mentioned a new baby either on the way or already here. So...what's the scoop on new baby Lauer?

I want to locate the mickey/minnie mouse disney carry on luggage that Meredith Vieira of the TODAY mentioned and showed on her June 07 today show--- where can I locate it? She purchased it at a Disney shop a few years ago. If you need additional info...please e-mail me. I can't find it on the Disney website and thought if you could give me a brick disney story that has it in stock...I could call and order it. I want to purchase it for a Christmas gift. Thank you. Hi Mer, I wanted to know what did you for Halloween this year ? Thanks

Good Morning Meredith, the dog is up, the cat's are up, the fish passed away and can't be up. I'm up too. Studying for an exam in the morning. Wish me luck. Have a great! day.

Hey Meredith! With the holidays approaching, I'm curious - are you an early bird shopper or do you grab the gifts last minute?

I am enjoyng The Ends of the Earth segment, but is the Today Show buying carbon credits to offset the flights that Ann, Al and Matt took to get to the ends of the earth?

MEREDITH BUTCHERS PRONUNCIATION!

Antarctic - (ant ark' tik)... NOT (an ar' tic)

Arctic - (ark' tik)... NOT (ar' tic)

Please set a good example and be careful to convey the proper pronunciation of words to your audience! As a nation, we have become intolerably lazy in our speech. I believe they call it "Murdering the King's English".

Thank you!

Hi Meredith,
I was at the show this past Friday and am sorry to have missed you, but I did have the chance to meet your sweet assistant! I got there at 4 a.m. and therefore got the prime spot next to Lenny (what a fascinating guy!), and your assistant (can't remember her name for the life of me now!) came and chatted for a bit, what a nice lady. :) I hope everything went well for you on Friday, and I'm enjoying seeing your "Ends of the Earth" newscast today! What is the most interesting thing you are learning from this event?

How did you decide who got to go to the cold of Antartica or the North Pole? It would be a great experience, except for the time to get there and the frigid cold. I think you got the best part of the scenario.

meredith ,your one very beautiful, loving open minded strong women .What I want to know is is Matt as much of a jerk as I see on the today show? he seems to have some issue's with his co-host's at times and he is rude! also where do you get your energy from? also are you happy that you left the view before all the drama? thanks for your time with all you have going on daily !

Hey Meredith,
This is Jennifer (I'm the one with all the "Ann" signs at the Today show). I just wanted to say that I really enjoy seeing you all at work every day. Only two more weeks or so and then I go back to my "normal" life.

My adventure in New York has been fun. I just wish I had looked at your blog sooner. I find that sometimes it's hard to get posts done with a hectic schedule. I can only imagine what your schedule is like.

Keep up the good work!

Meredith, I saw your interview with Caroline on Thursday morning and she mentioned that she couldn't find the Christmas Carol that her mother used to sing her. I found an old english carol that just may be the one. Is there a way to get it to her, or a way for me to send it to you to send it to her? Just thought she might like to have it if it is the one. Love all you do...you are a great example. Deb

World War II veterans are leaving us at the rate of 1,000 a day, but there are many of us left that still have their faculties very much intact. Would you consider having a Millionaire week devoted to those of us who are members of Tom Brokaw's "Greatest Generation"?

Hi Meredith-I feel like I can call you by your first name, as I watch you every morning. I love the show. I would like to know how I can get in touch with your husband. I also have MS and will be attendng the MS Conference at the Valley Forge Convention Center. I would like to have about 15 minutes of his time while he is there. If you would google my name you will see that I also have a cause. Sherry Karasik is writting my story and we have just finished the first 4 chapters. Our agent is Rebbecca Pratt. We would be humbiled and honered if you and your husband would consider writting the forward for our book. I would love to share the chapters, outline, book proposal and press release with you both. I thought if I could s/w Richard at the conference and show him the materials you both would consider doing this. I am also having 3% of all the book sales going to MS for research. I tried to find some way to send this to Richard, but could not find an e-mail.I hope to hear from you soon.Jane Gagliardo

I sympathize with your daughter. I had that same thing happen to me several years ago. I had chronic appendicitus for 8 months. Finally they the lapriscoptic (sp) surgery and wow. I was not in any pain. Only the incision and the gas. It takes a while to heal but it was nice to finally know what was the matter with me.

Give her my best!!!

(By the way I love reading your column I have 5 children and 5 grandchildren so a lot of your experiences are familiar to me. (My kids still roll their eyes at me also.))
