Meredith,
I've been watching you for years, from the View I followed you to the Today Show. Every morning you make me and my Husband crack up. I have a question for you, I'm a business woman and am required to dress professional (this includes hose everyday). Lately, when you're wearing skirts or dresses, it almost looks as if you're not wearing hose, you were always an advocate for pantyhose saying that you always wear pantyhose. Are you still wearing hose and if so what brand do you wear, they are so sheer they look invisible.
Thanks,
Carla M
Hi MEREDITH,
I think you are wonderful! Now, can you do a show on menopause? I can handle the hot flashes, but this stomach I have to carry around and I mean around...!!There has to be women out there that have found a way to diet and get rid of it. I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Meredith,
I often wonder how you (and others in your industry)seem happy, content, and pleasant every single morning on television. Don't you have bad days sometimes(you've had an argument with your husband, something is on your mind, you didn't sleep well etc.)when you just don't feel like talking or being in front of such a huge audience?
If so, how do you handle this so that no one has any idea you aren't in a "tip top" mood?
Thanks for answering! You are great!
Mary
Hi Meredith,
I believe in February 2008 you interviewed a woman who discussed her experince with successful home based businesses. One she talked about in specific detail was being an online adjunct instructor. She was a Professor and discussed her recent experience in working with soldiers in Iraq who were working on their business degree. Can you provide her name and the title of her book?
Thank you
Two weeks ago, I was at the Houston Rodeo and saw Matt Lauer as a rodeo clown. I can't find a story on The Today Show. Really? I can't imagine why the show wouldn't put Matt on dressed as a clown on a segment. Meredith, can you let this go without watching Matt get knocked over by a bull? Please let me know if it has already been shown and I missed it. I hope I get to see it again because it was really funny!
Hi Meredith
I was wondering what are some Portuguese Easter traditions, like foods, egg hunts, coloring? And do you celebrate any of these traditions?
Hi Meredith,
So I was just rejoicing that it was the first official day of spring (even though it's still cold as all get out) but it still got me thinking about warmer days! What are some of your favorite springtime activities?
Mistaken Identity the book about the tragic Taylor University accident. I just recently read that the two family's are writing a book.
All I can say is bless their hearts for sharing this story. We live between Gaylord, MI and Taylor University and our kids go to Bethel College.
I cannot wait to read the book it is a heartbreaking yet fascinating story. I believe the interview will take place by Matt and will be aired this coming week. If I am not home I need to tape the interview.
I hope you got to meet these people because everything I read shows how much love they have and how awesome is their faith.
Can't wait to read what you have to say.
ur too cute.
While discussing a lung cancer study (which was partially funded by a tobacco company), Dr. Nancy Snyderman said that information coming from sources with agendas are suspect.
Many people think that because journalists have agendas, they are not reliable sources of untainted information. What are your feelings on this?
Hi Meredith,
My name is Meredith as well and I am 43 years old.
Meredith, there was a segment on body image and eating disorders this morning that I would like to comment on.
I have tried on several occassions to contact the Today Show regarding this issue to no avail and thought perhaps through your blog some headway (even knowing you were not on the show.)
Meredith, as a survivor of a variety of Eating Disorders and author of a personal story of recovery "Road to the Rainbow" I am continually discouraged by the lack of coverage by the media on techniques used to recover from the illness. While the exposure of the issue is wonderful for suffering viewers at home who know all to well the problem, a solution is what they are looking for. I think it would be wonderful if you could shed light on the recovery of Eating Disorders and the message that not only can you survive but thrive.
Hoping this contact can make a difference.
Thanking you in advance for taking the time to read this note.
THanks,
Meredith

Hello, Meredith!
I've been a big fan of yours ever since "The View" and have particularly admired the balanced, incredibly thorough approach you have to tackling complicated issues.
I myself am an aspiring (print) journalist who is about to graduate from your alma mater (Go Jumbos!), and I was wondering if you had any advice for someone trying to break into the field today.

Hi Meredith,
My name is Beatriz Baily Fay; and, I want to tell you about my mother, Beatriz Baily Blaisdell. She is your biggest fan; and, she turns on your program no matter where she is in the country. She is a mom and a grandmother ( TITA to her grandchildren and great grand-daughter). Her son,my brother, David Hamilton Baily, Jr. is a Major in the Army serving his second volunteered tour in Iraq; her daughter, my sister, Linda Baily Capobianco, is a Lt. Col in the Army serving her second tour in Iraq; and her grandson, my son, Sean Christopher Fay, is a Captain in the USMC serving his third tour in Iraq. You always here stories about the spouses/family memebers of the military serving in Iraq/Afghanistan; but rarely do I see stories about the moms and grandmothers of the military serving in war zones. I think for a Mother's Day segment for the Today show it would be a welcomed change to do a story about the mothers and grandmothers; and, I hope that you would like to consider speaking with my mother.
Thanking you in advance for your kind consideration.
Respectfully,
Beatriz Baily Fay
Hi Meredith,
Today I heard you tell a guest that Martha Stewart corrected your pronunciation of the word "herbs" to one with the H sound audible. She needs to check her American dictionaries. You were correct with the silent H

I’m a single mom of 3 who has been dx with MS for 6 years now. I have had a team for the MS walk and Bike tours (as well as I’ve ridden in the bike tour in 2005 on Team Avonex) since my dx in September 2002, 5 years after my onset of symptoms. I’m a patient advocate for Biogen Idec, and I have been running an online support group through MSN groups since May 2003. As you can see, MS Awareness is of utmost importance to me!
In the past 51/2 yrs since my dx, we have raised over $14,000.00 as a team collectively.
This year I decided to take our Chapter’s 3.8 mile walk an additional 1500 miles to Spring Hill, Florida!
A childhood friend of mine (Kathi Sue Rizzo) down there who owns her own restaurant (Rizzo’s family restaurant) has been fundraising for me as well as raising MS Awareness (which I believe is of utmost importance) on behalf of my team, Team Newly Diagnosed Fight, and the approximately 400,000 other people living in the U.S. with Multiple Sclerosis.
Spring Hill’s local radio station at True Oldies 106.3 and Scott Shannon have been plugging away every morning at 6am, asking people to go to Rizzo’s and make a donation towards our common goal for a cure!
The fundraising efforts didn’t stop there, Monica, a R&B and Rap artist from down in South Florida a friend of Kathi's, was so inspired by what we were trying to do that she asked me if she can write a song on my behalf, of course I said sure go for it! With that I sent her a bio about myself, an article that the National MS Society did on me a year ago in Momentum, as well as any information that I could about MS, since Monica, herself does NOT have MS I felt, as she did, that it was important that she learned as much as she could about this disease before writing a song that would be representative of all of us who do have MS.
On April 26th she will being doing a ‘gig’ at club Rbeach where some of the proceeds will be going towards my team’s fundraising efforts, they have people donating things for raffles and door prizes to bring in more money and Monica and her production company will be selling her Cd that night with proceeds going to the National MS society on my behalf to a program or designation within the Society yet to be determined (there are so many causes that I want to help out with, (Nationally.)
ABC News in Florida is debuting our new MS song on May 1st, not only will this bring out awareness but it's going to show how people from all over can work together to get something major done!
Her song is amazing, I’d love for you to hear it, (the link to her page and the reason why she decided to do this is on the bottom of this email as is my MySpace link where the song may be heard and pictures may be seen of Rizzo’s and their fundraising efforts), she has brought justice to all of us who are living and fighting each day with a disease that is so unpredictable.
I think it would be beneficial in light of MS Awareness and the start of the Nation’s MS Walk’s to bring this song out to the public. Monica wrote this song for me and my team but also for ALL of us who fight this disease.
We are eager to bring as much awareness to as many people as we can for with awareness will come more money for research and with research hopefully one day MS will stand for Mystery Solved!
As you are aware that to date there are approximately over 400,000 people living each day with MS...yet, there are still too many who STILL have NO idea what M.S.
It's TIME TO CHANGE THAT!!
I’d like very much to be able to help take this fundraising that we started up here on Long Island that has travelled down to South Florida across the entire United States and make us one voice…won’t you please help me to do that?

Hi Meredith,
I know you have worked with Hugh Downs and Barbara Walters at ABC, but ia there anyone of the "Today" alumni that you would have liked to have worked with ?
Dear Meredith,
I miss you very much since you were
on 'The View'. Rosie was fun, now
we have Whoopi. She's good.
But, I still miss you alot!!
Luckily, I see you on 'Millionaire'!
How's your son? Daughter? Husband?
Sincerely,

Hi Meredith!
So many great topics are covered on The Today Show. April is ORGAN DONATION AWARENESS MONTH. I would love to see something on that topic. I am under evaluation for a double lung transplant, and my family has done a lot to promote people to sign organ donation cards. It is a very hard decision, yet a very important one.
This would be a wonderful and timely topic to cover...PLEASE consider it--talk to your producers!
Thank you so much!
Love,
Lolo
